Lizzy's Landscapes is a photography, paint and paper based etsy shop with hand-bound books, journals, watercolor & photography, reprints, and the occasional fabric accessory. Lizzy's passion is in creating art that takes the forgotten or mundane and brings beauty to it. Memory is a powerful thing, and through her work, Lizzy will help you celebrate it.

Lizzy has had a passion creating and sharing her creations since she was very little. From drawing with cray-pas with her dad from a child's portfolio, sewing and doing paper crafts with her mom, coloring sunken pirate ships on the windowsill sitting in the sun with old color pencils in at 6, and doing primitive point-and-shoot photography with a disposable camera at 16.

She has always been captivated by rustic and weathered buildings - especially barns that are no longer habitable. When she was a child, she remembers passing these older buildings on car rides and loving the romance of their past. Now that she's older, Lizzy takes pleasure in seeking out buildings and nature that show texture through their time exposed to the elements and nature.

Since an early age, Lizzy took every class she could manage to explore different forms of art, graduated college with a minor degree in Art Studio, and focused her passions in the years after. Lizzy continues to take self taught and more formal classes to continue learning and fostering creativity. She enjoys many different forms of art, but the continuity you'll find throughout all her art is texture, contrast and functionality.
